Established in 2020 by Sean Louden, Teton Evergreens stands as a symbol of his enduring love for plant cultivation and landscape design. Sean's path in the Plant Nursery & Landscape industry began at the age of 13, inspired by his mother, who managed one of Maui's premier nurseries. This early exposure marked the beginning of a career deeply anchored in his passion for plants. Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, Sean launched his first nursery and landscape company at the age of 21, which he later successfully sold.

Sean's formative years were spent on the vibrant Island of Maui, where he not only cultivated his botanical skills but also flourished as a Professional Surfer, achieving the prestigious title of Hawaii State Men's Surf Champion at 18. This unique blend of love for the ocean and land has significantly shaped the ethos of Teton Evergreens.

Malaika Bayer Louden, Sean's wife, is originally from Jackson, Wyoming and is a Physician Assistant. Together, they are raising their two young children in the nurturing and inspiring environment of the Valley.  

 

This family-driven venture is further enriched by the legacy of Sean's great-grandfather, William Louden, founder of Louden Machinery Company. The Louden Machinery Company, a beacon of agricultural innovation, was not only responsible for designing over 25,000 barns but also held numerous patents, showcasing its pioneering spirit in the industry. Successfully operating for almost 90 years before its sale in 1953, the company left a lasting legacy in the agricultural world, and is recognized on The National Register of Historical Places.
